César García of Portland apparently doesn't as he battered New York with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 29-5 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 6 day... will my name be in the record books now?" César García hit a three-run triple in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 9th. In the 2020 season García is hitting .297 with 6 home runs. |
