 | Settlers Mendoza CL Hitter of the Week Monday, October 13th, 2081: It was announced today that Boston left fielder Pepe Mendoza had received the Continental League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .452 BA (14-31), 4 home runs and 9 RBIs. This year Mendoza is hitting .308 with 40 home runs and 125 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .342 clip and scored 121 runs. |
