 | Monday, September 10th, 2057: Griffin of Baltimore Crowned Best Player Baltimore Charm catcher Danny Griffin had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Continental League named him Player of the Week. Griffin banged out 11 hits in 19 at-bats on the way to a .579 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This year Griffin is hitting .330, produced 91 RBIs and 16 home runs, scored 79 times and gotten on base at a .460 rate. |
