Front Office Offseason League News Article | |  | Thursday, August 26th, 2055: Correa Notches Number 200 History was made today at Charm Ballpark -- Carlos Correa won game #200 to seal his name in the league record books. The Baltimore ace downed the Boston Settlers 7-2 to gain entrance into the elite 200 Club.
"I was wound up at first. I think I threw too hard," remarked Correa, "I had to calm down and go out there and pitch... not just throw. I think I got better as the game wore on. I started to think less about 200 wins and more about doing what I had to do."
His career stats show that Correa has racked up 200 victories and 145 defeats and has recorded an ERA of 4.17. He also has fanned 2102 batters in 2947.2 innings and allowed 2966 hits. | |
